Agitators and agitator tanks are complemented by the FLENDER Gear units for agitators use in chemical pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and food processing applications. It is normally mounted vertically to the agitator tank. The drive unit transmit torque of up to 240,000 Nm, absorbs axial and radial loads that occur in the applications specifications. Siemens can supply FLENDER gear unit solutions with an addition thrust bearing to accommodate higher axial loads. It features high operational reliability, reinforced bearing, and optional force-free gear housing. Thanks to its additional thrust bearing, customized versions are possible with extra-strong output shafts.
